📖 About Bowman Regional Public Library
The roots of Bowman's library reach back to 1913, when the Women's Federated Study Club organized the town's first reading collection; a dedicated building followed in 1915. For decades the library served the community from a modest 1,400-square-foot home before the county and city jointly invested in a dramatic expansion, moving in 2005 into the repurposed grocery-store building at 18 East Divide Street. The renovation multiplied the floor space more than four times over, creating room for creative labs, children's spaces, and community programming. Today the library is a tax-supported public service of both Bowman County and the City of Bowman, reflecting the broad regional draw of a library that serves ranchers, students, and families across a wide stretch of the North Dakota–South Dakota–Montana tri-corner.
