Madison Heights Public Library is a municipal library operated by the City of Madison Heights, an inner-ring Detroit suburb incorporated by popular vote in January 1955 as the tenth city in southern Oakland County. The library holds more than 77,000 volumes and circulates over 109,000 items annually, serving a community of roughly 30,000 residents. As a member of The Library Network (TLN), cardholders can borrow from dozens of southeast Michigan libraries through a shared catalog, and through MeLCat they can request items from libraries across Michigan.
