Dillingham Public Library is the public library of Dillingham, Alaska, a city of roughly 2,400 residents at the confluence of the Wood and Nushagak rivers where they empty into Bristol Bay. The city, which takes its name from Senator William Paul Dillingham who visited the region in 1904, is widely known as the sockeye salmon capital of the world — Bristol Bay produces the largest sockeye salmon runs on the planet.
