Uinta County Library is the public library district for Uinta County, Wyoming, with its main branch at 701 Main Street in Evanston. Evanston is the county seat, a Union Pacific railroad town founded in 1869 near the Utah border in the Bear River valley. The library system operates two additional branches: Lyman (129 South Franklin Street) and Mountain View (322 West 2nd Street), extending service across this rural county. The main Evanston branch is open Tuesday through Saturday and participates in the Wyoming Library Database (WYLD) network, giving cardholders access to GoWYLD — the Wyoming State Library's statewide digital portal — as well as Libby for eBooks and audiobooks through the WYLD consortium catalog.
