The Lander Library is the administrative and main branch of the Fremont County Library System, which serves Wyoming's largest county by area from three locations: Lander (headquarters), Riverton, and Dubois. Lander itself sits at the edge of the Wind River Range at an elevation of about 5,360 feet and serves as the county seat of Fremont County. The library at 451 North 2nd Street provides circulation of books, audiobooks, and media; public computers with printing, copying, and scanning; and interlibrary loan access to Wyoming and out-of-state collections.
