The Day-Riverside Branch at 1575 West 1000 North serves Salt Lake City's Rose Park neighborhood on the city's northwest side. The building was designed with sensitivity to its site on the Jordan River Parkway: an open-plan interior flows to a community meeting room with an outdoor deck overlooking the parkway greenway. On the south property, TreeUtah operates an EcoGarden 'food forest' — an urban farming demonstration space where community members learn organic gardening and sustainable growing techniques. The branch is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, with evening hours through Thursday. Like all nine Salt Lake City Public Library branches, Day-Riverside shares the full SLCPL card, catalog, and digital collections — Libby, hoopla, Kanopy, and Pioneer Utah's Online Library — and offers free parking west of the building and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.
