The Corinne & Jack Sweet Branch at 455 F Street (9th Ave) is the Salt Lake City Public Library's branch for the Greater Avenues — one of the oldest and most historic neighborhoods in Salt Lake City, rising on the east bench north of downtown. Built in 1985 and expanded in 1994, the branch shares the same modular design as the Anderson-Foothill Branch; its over 8,000 square feet of service space hold dedicated areas for children, teens, and adults. The branch has a small study room and a public meeting room equipped with tables, chairs, projection capabilities, and audio systems for community use. Free parking is available north of the building. As one of nine SLCPL branches, Sweet Branch shares the system's unified card, catalog (catalog.slcpl.org), and digital resources — including Libby, hoopla, Kanopy, and Pioneer Utah's Online Library — with all other system locations. The branch is named in honor of Corinne and Jack Sweet, community donors who contributed to public library service in Salt Lake City.
