Part of the six-branch Bridgeport Public Library system, Black Rock underwent major renovations before reopening in July 2009, transforming its facility into a welcoming community hub. The branch holds circulating collections of books, DVDs, and audiobooks, and provides free public computers, Wi-Fi, mobile printing, and notary services. Children's programs, educational resources including ABCmouse.com, and access to BPL's full suite of digital resources — OverDrive eBooks, Kanopy streaming, and Hoopla — are available to all cardholders.</p>
