Parkway Branch Library sits at 1924-B Dauphin Island Pkwy, positioned along one of Mobile's longest north–south arteries to give southwest-side residents walkable access to library services without a trip to the Ben May Main Library downtown. As part of the Mobile Public Library system — which traces its roots to an 1850s Franklin Society subscription library and became officially public in 1902 — the Parkway Branch shares the system's shared catalog, holds network, and digital platforms. Patrons can place holds online and pick them up here, or return materials to any of the system's ten locations. The branch offers public computers, Wi-Fi, printing, and copying alongside a circulating collection covering popular fiction, nonfiction, children's materials, and DVDs.
