The Doris Stanley Memorial Library is Moody's municipal public library, operated by the City of Moody in St. Clair County, Alabama. The library traces its roots to 1978, when bookmobile service gave residents their first regular library access. It subsequently moved through the Civic Center and the fire station before settling into dedicated space behind City Hall in 1992. In 2000 the city renamed the facility in honor of Doris Stanley, a longtime advocate of library services in the community. A modern 5,600-square-foot building opened in 2017, making room for expanded collections and digital services.
