Opened in September 2003, the Willingboro Public Library was built on the site of a 1959 building in the old Town Center Plaza on Route 130, combining 70% new construction with 30% renovation to create a state-of-the-art 42,000-square-foot facility. The American Institute of Architects recognized it as a Top Ten Green Project, and it also earned a Green Building Award from the Pennsylvania Environmental Council — testament to its sustainable design. Inside, the library houses 29 public-access computers, a dedicated computer training center, a Local History Room, multiple large and small meeting rooms, an exhibit room, a children's reading garden, and a café.
