📖 About Logan Library
The Logan Library is the public library of Logan, Utah, the seat of Cache County in the state's northern Cache Valley. The library was formally established by Logan City on April 18, 1916, seeded by more than 1,200 donated titles; for decades it operated from older downtown buildings, including a 1932 structure and, from 1981, the former Palace d'Or dancehall and Sears building on North Main. After that aging building was demolished in February 2022, a new $17 million, 35,000-square-foot library opened on the same North Main block in March 2024. Owned and run by the City of Logan, the library crossed one million annual checkouts back in December 2012 and today serves Cache Valley with a two-story downtown facility, dedicated teen and youth areas, meeting and study rooms, and the donor-funded Cytiva STEM Makerspace.
