North Bend Public Library

📖 About North Bend Public Library
The North Bend Public Library is a department of the City of North Bend and a member library of the Coos County Library Service District, whose COASTLINE shared catalog ties together all public libraries across Coos and Curry Counties on Oregon's southern coast. The collection holds more than 73,000 circulating items — books, films, audiobooks, magazines and digital titles — and the library provides free public-access computers and wireless internet. During the 2024–2025 fiscal year alone, staff mounted 281 programs for kids, teens and adults that drew more than 8,500 attendees, ranging from sensory storytimes and LEGO Club for children to an adult book club and community lectures. Director Haley Lagasse leads the library in its mission to inform, inspire and entertain North Bend's approximately 16,000 residents through relevant services and programming as technology and community needs evolve.
