The Boulder City Library is the public library of Boulder City, Clark County, Nevada — a city with a uniquely controlled history. Founded in 1931 as a federally planned company town to house thousands of workers building Hoover Dam on the Colorado River, Boulder City was designed by urban planner Saco Rienk de Boer with generous public space and landscaping, earning it the nickname 'Nevada's Garden City.'
