The Bellevue Public Library serves Bellevue, the oldest continuous town in Nebraska, in the Omaha metro area of Sarpy County. Its roots reach back to 1929, when the Bellevue Junior Woman's Club started the town's first library with a gift of a dozen books and set it up in a back room of a private home on East 20th Street. Operated today by the City of Bellevue, the library relocated to a larger, purpose-built space at 2206 Longo Drive in 2024.
