Richmond Heights Memorial Library is the public library of Richmond Heights, Missouri, a compact inner-ring city in St. Louis County. The library traces its origins to 1933, when members of the local Lions Club pooled $16 to start a community collection. After decades of growth and multiple moves, voters approved a $350,000 bond issue, and the library was officially renamed the Richmond Heights Memorial Library in 1974 and dedicated in its new form in 1975. In 2000 it expanded into a 13,000-square-foot space inside THE HEIGHTS, the city's community recreation center at the busy intersection of Hanley Road and Dale Avenue just off Interstate 64.
