<p>Esper Branch Library is a branch of the Dearborn Public Library located at 12929 West Warren Avenue in Dearborn's northeast area. The branch has a long history in the neighborhood: it first opened in 1944 as the Northeast Branch, then moved to its current address and was renamed the Warren Branch in 1953. It received its current name on October 29, 1961, honoring the Esper family — pioneers in Dearborn and contributors to civic life. As of September 2025, the branch has been closed for a major renovation that will transform it into what the library calls a hybrid Library–STEAM Center, adding dedicated science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics spaces to the existing public library services. During the renovation, all Dearborn Public Library services are available at the Henry Ford Centennial Library at 16301 Michigan Avenue. Check dearbornlibrary.org for reopening updates.</p>
