📖 About Princeville Public Library

The Princeville Public Library serves Kauaʻi's North Shore and reopened June 17, 2025 following a roughly $7 million improvement project that replaced the building's air-conditioning system, made interior structural repairs and added new paint, flooring and accessibility upgrades. The grand-reopening celebration on June 14, 2025 featured live music, historical walks and puppet-making for families, timed so the community could jump into the summer reading season. The branch runs youth literacy programs including ʻOhana Readers and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, and is supported by the Friends of the North Shore Library at Princeville.
