<p>Opened in 2006 to bring library services closer to the farms and newer residential developments along the I-75 corridor east of Brooksville, the East Hernando Branch turned 20 years old in 2026 — an anniversary the community marked with a time-capsule celebration. The branch offers a full circulating collection, public computers with internet access, a <strong>meeting room seating up to 48 people</strong> at the front of the building, and rotating programming for children and adults throughout the year. It is fully funded in part under Florida's State Aid to Libraries Grant program, administered by the Division of Library and Information Services.</p>
