📖 About Perrot Memorial Library

Perrot Memorial Library was established in 1931 in the Old Greenwich section of Greenwich, Connecticut. The colonial-style building was designed by D. Everett Waid — a former president of the American Institute of Architects — who donated both the land and the architectural plans. The Town of Greenwich landmarked the building in 2017. Owned and operated by the Perrot Library Association, a private non-profit 501(c)(3), Perrot is affiliated with but independent of Greenwich Library, and maintains its own catalog, programs, and governance while sharing access to digital resources. The Radcliffe Children's Library wing, completed in 1998 and named for board member Richard Radcliffe, provides a dedicated space for youth services and the popular "Read to a Dog" program.
