The St. Albans Free Library is the public library of St. Albans City, Vermont — the seat of Franklin County and a historic railroad hub near Lake Champlain. Open to St. Albans City and Town residents at no charge (and to Franklin and Grand Isle County residents 65 and older free of charge), the library holds adult and youth collections, public computers, study carrels, a meeting room, a youth activity room, and a microfilm reader. Its Book Cellar offers donated books for purchase, and its Museum Pass program provides free or discounted admission to partner museums and cultural sites across the region.
