About Elkin Public Library

Elkin Public Library is a branch of the Northwestern Regional Library system, located at 111 N Front Street in the heart of downtown Elkin. Nestled in Surry County in the scenic Yadkin Valley wine country of western North Carolina, Elkin's library serves a tight-knit community that values its small-town character while remaining connected to the broader world through books, digital resources, and community programs. The Northwestern Regional Library system links Elkin with libraries in Surry, Stokes, Yadkin, and Davie counties.

The library offers a welcoming collection of print books, audiobooks, DVDs, and periodicals, alongside a growing suite of digital services.
