The current building opened July 1, 1925, and has been serving Kenosha's Uptown neighborhood for a century. The branch is fully ADA-accessible — with adapted computer tables, large-print and high-contrast keyboards, and screen-reader software — and offers a meeting room available for community bookings, a developmental toy collection, Wi-Fi, public computers, printing, faxing, and scanning. An ongoing Friends of the Library book sale operates within the building, and the branch functions as a community heating and cooling center. Kenosha Transit Route 5 provides bus service to the location, and street parking surrounds the building on all sides.</p>
