The branch is named for Dr. James W. Carlson, a long-serving Fargo physician whose contributions to the community were recognized with the library&#39;s dedication in his honor. As the largest Fargo Public Library branch outside the downtown Main Library, it offers an expansive collection, free public computers and Wi-Fi, meeting room access, tax assistance programs, interlibrary loan service, and robust children&#39;s and teen programming.
