It first opened in May 1989 and has expanded twice since then, reaching its current size of 14,750 square feet. The collection holds over 55,000 books, audiobooks, and music CDs, complemented by digital resources, public computers, Wi-Fi, printing, and the Michigan Activity Pass program.
