<p>South Side Saginaw has had a public library presence since 1911, and the Ruth Brady Wickes Library is its modern expression. The current branch was dedicated October 2, 1983, made possible by a grant from the Harvey Randall Wickes Memorial Foundation and named in honor of Ruth Brady Wickes. It serves the South Side community as part of the Public Libraries of Saginaw system, offering borrowing, public computers, Wi-Fi, and digital resources including Libby and the statewide Michigan eLibrary.
