📖 About Roseburg Public Library
The Roseburg Public Library is the public library of Roseburg, the county seat of Douglas County in southern Oregon's Umpqua Valley. For decades the library was operated by Douglas County, but in December 2017 the county transferred the building and its collection to the City of Roseburg. The Oregon Community Foundation awarded more than $100,000 in grants, and additional donors helped the city raise $750,000 within five months to fund facility upgrades and secure city operations. The library moved into its current location at 1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd, Suite 100, where it offers free digital newspapers through NewsBank, eBooks and audiobooks through the Oregon Digital Library Consortium's Library2Go, and free computer classes for patrons who contact the library at library@roseburgor.gov.
