📖 About Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL)
SNFL is the New York Public Library's largest circulating branch, occupying the former Mid-Manhattan Library site at 455 Fifth Avenue across from the Schwarzman Building. It reopened after a comprehensive renovation designed by architect Francine Houben of Mecanoo with Beyer Blinder Belle. Over 300,000 books across 44,000 sq ft (Marron Family Circulating Collections); dedicated children's and teen centers; Thomas Yoseloff Business Center; free public rooftop terrace with Manhattan views; LEED-certified sustainable design.
