The Story of the Library in San Juan
The Biblioteca Ángel Quintero Alfaro is the library of the Facultad de Estudios Generales at the University of Puerto Rico's Río Piedras Campus, located on the first floor of the Domingo Marrero Navarro (DMN) building. It is named for Ángel Quintero Alfaro, a Puerto Rican educator and former Secretary of Education, and forms part of the campus-wide Sistema de Bibliotecas of UPR Río Piedras. Its mission is to support the curriculum of the Faculty of General Studies with print and non-print collections, individual study rooms, and user-instruction services for the university community.
